How to buy tokenized stocks on Base with USDC

• >A wallet on Base. Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby or any other; on a phone, WalletConnect or your wallet's own browser.
• >USDC on Base. Buy USDC on an exchange and withdraw it to Base, or bridge it from another chain.
• >A little ETH on Base for gas. A transaction on Base usually costs under a cent.
• >Not in US. Coinbase tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons, and not everywhere else either.

1. Step 1 - connect

   Open your profile on Gifted Stock and connect. Every wallet installed in your browser shows up by name; on a phone, use WalletConnect or your wallet's own browser. If the wallet is on another network, it is asked to switch to Base when you trade.

2. Step 2 - pick the stocks

   Open the Portfolio tab and switch to Buy. Every stock with a market is listed with its live Chainlink price. Type a dollar amount next to each one you want - $1 is the minimum per stock - and the total updates as you go. You can buy several in the same order.

3. Step 3 - confirm once

   Press Buy. A wallet that batches, like Coinbase Wallet or a smart wallet, asks for one confirmation; most others sign a free USDC permit first and then send one transaction. The order goes through Aerodrome's deepest USDC pool for each stock, and the tokens land in your wallet a few seconds later.

• >The order is quoted just before it is sent and refused if a pool is more than 1.5% off Chainlink's price.
• >Slippage is capped at 0.5%.
• >The fee is 1%, taken in the stock you buy - nothing extra in USDC.

The tokens are in your wallet. Some wallets need the token's contract added before they show it; every stock's page carries its contract, for example NVDAc. Your profile's History tab lists the trade with a link to the transaction.

The Sell side lists what you hold, with a checkbox each. Tick the ones to sell and confirm once; the USDC arrives in the same transaction. A holding worth less than $0.05 is not offered for sale, and the fee is 1%, in USDC.
