How to get free tokenized stocks on Base

by Ali Tiknazoglu · updated sep 18, 2026

The free way to get tokenized stocks is a campaign. A project puts up Gifted Stock boxes as prizes and sets a few simple tasks; the boxes you win open into real Coinbase tokenized stock on Base, like NVIDIA or Apple. Joining costs nothing - one signature, no gas.

Live right now

Two ways a campaign hands out boxes

  • Raffle. Every wallet that joined gets one entry, and the winners are drawn at random after the campaign ends.
  • First come, first served. No draw: whoever finishes the tasks first claims a slot on the spot, one per wallet, until the slots run out.

Win boxes in four steps

  1. Step 1 - pick a live campaign

Open the Campaigns page and pick one that is live. Each card shows the project, how many boxes are up for grabs, how they are handed out and how long is left.

  2. Step 2 - do the tasks

Connect your wallet and complete each task, like visiting a link, holding an NFT or token, or opening boxes. The campaign card ticks each one off.

  3. Step 3 - join or claim

When every task is done, join with one signature. It is free and costs no gas. In a first come, first served campaign that signature claims your boxes on the spot, while slots last.

  4. Step 4 - open your boxes

Raffle winners get their boxes about two hours after the campaign ends; a first come, first served claim arrives within a minute. A popup on the home page says so. Open them and the stock lands in your wallet.

What a box pays

A random slice of a Coinbase tokenized stock, valued at the live price when you open it. The odds table lists every prize and its chance. The stock is yours to keep, sell for USDC from your profile, or send on - and a box you don't want to open yourself can be gifted to a friend while it is sealed.

No campaign live? A box costs $0.10, or buy the stock itself with USDC.

Questions

Are the boxes really free?

Yes. Joining a campaign is one free signature with no gas, and the project pays for the boxes. Opening a box costs $0.05 in ETH, paid by whoever opens it, like any box.

Do I need to hold anything?

Only if a task asks for it: some campaigns ask you to hold the project's NFT or token. In a raffle you still need to hold it when the campaign ends.

Does doing more raise my chances?

No. In a raffle every wallet that joined gets one entry. In a first come, first served campaign each wallet can claim once.

When do I get my boxes?

Raffle winners get theirs about two hours after the campaign ends; a first come, first served claim arrives within a minute. They are normal sealed boxes: open them, keep them or gift them.

Can my project run a campaign?

Yes. Reach out to the founder on X or Telegram to get a project page. Boxes cost $0.10 each in USDC on Base, with a 500-box minimum, and boxes nobody wins go back to your prize pool.
