How to buy and open a Gifted Stock box

by Ali Tiknazoglu · updated oct 10, 2026

Pick a chain and a box on the home page, pay $0.10 or $1 and open: one random number picks each box's prize and its stock and the stock lands in your wallet within seconds. On Base you pay in USDC; on Robinhood Chain in USDG or ETH.

What you need

  • A wallet. Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby or any other; on a phone, WalletConnect or your wallet's own browser.
  • Money on the chain you pick. USDC on Base, or USDG or ETH on Robinhood Chain: how to bring ETH or USDG to Robinhood Chain.
  • A little ETH on that chain. For the opening fee and network fees, usually under a cent each.

Buy and open in five steps

  1. Step 1 - connect

Open giftedstock.com and connect a wallet. Every wallet installed in your browser shows up by name; on a phone, use WalletConnect or your wallet's own browser. Your wallet is asked to switch to the chain you pick and to add Robinhood Chain if it does not have it yet.

  2. Step 2 - pick a chain and a box

Choose Base or Robinhood Chain with the chain switch and a normal box ($0.10) or a premium box ($1) with the box switch. The odds table below shows every prize and its chance for that box.

  3. Step 3 - choose how many and buy

Pick 1, 5, 10, 25 or 100 or type a number - up to 100 Base normal boxes or 200 of any other box in one go - and press Buy. Base takes USDC; Robinhood Chain takes USDG or ETH. The boxes land in your wallet sealed.

  4. Step 4 - open

The popup offers to open them right away or open them later from your profile. Open up to 10 Base normal boxes or 200 of any other box at once; the opening fee is paid in ETH, once for the whole opening.

  5. Step 5 - see what you won

One random number for the opening picks each box's prize from the odds table and which stock pays it. The stock arrives in your wallet within seconds, valued at the live Chainlink price. Share it, open more or check every box on its own page.

Why opening takes a few seconds

Opening asks for one random number for all the boxes you open together. On Base it comes from Pyth Entropy a few seconds after the open; on Robinhood Chain from drand, which publishes a new number every 3 seconds. When it arrives the boxes pay out. If a vault is short of a prize, the payout waits until it is refilled and then lands in your wallet on its own.

Or keep it sealed

A sealed box is an NFT: keep it, open it later or send it to a friend, who opens it and keeps the stock inside: how to gift a stock.

Questions

What does it cost to open a box?

A small fee in ETH, the same whether you open one box or many: $0.05 on Base and from $0.01 for a normal box or $0.05 for a premium box on Robinhood Chain, a little more when the network is busy. Nothing is taken from your prize.

How many boxes can I open at once?

Up to 10 normal boxes on Base and up to 200 of every other box.

Can I open my boxes later?

Yes, from your profile. A sealed box lasts one year; after that it expires and pays nothing.

Do I need ETH?

Yes, a little ETH on the chain you use, for the opening fee and network fees. ETH on Base and ETH on Robinhood Chain are separate.

I opened a box but can't see the stock in my wallet.

Check your wallet is on the chain the box was on. Some wallets show a token only once it is added: every stock's page has its contract address.
