How to buy stock tokens on Robinhood Chain
by Ali Tiknazoglu · updated oct 10, 2026
Robinhood stock tokens are tokens on Robinhood Chain that track real company shares - Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, SpaceX and more. You buy them from your own wallet: bring ETH or USDG to Robinhood Chain, then swap for the stock token on Uniswap. Or open a $0.10 box on Gifted Stock and let the draw pick one for you.
What you need
- A wallet on Robinhood Chain. The Robinhood Wallet or a wallet like MetaMask or Rabby with Robinhood Chain added (chain id 4663). Gifted Stock adds the network to your wallet the first time you use it there.
- ETH or USDG on Robinhood Chain. ETH pays for gas and can be swapped; USDG is where the deepest stock pools are.
- Not in the US. Robinhood does not offer stock tokens to US persons and not everywhere else either.
Buy in three steps
Step 1 - bring ETH or USDG to Robinhood Chain
Stock tokens live on Robinhood Chain, so the money you pay with has to be there too. ETH comes over from Ethereum through the Arbitrum bridge in about 10 minutes or in seconds through Relay or Across. USDG, the main dollar on Robinhood Chain, moves over through Stargate. Robinhood's docs list every route.
Step 2 - swap on Uniswap
Open Uniswap, pick the Robinhood Chain network and swap USDG or ETH for the stock token you want. The deepest pools are against USDG. Check the token's contract against Robinhood's list before you swap: a token with the same ticker at another address is not a Robinhood stock token.
Step 3 - find it in your wallet
The stock token lands in your wallet like any other token. Some wallets show it only once its contract is added: every stock token's page on Gifted Stock carries its contract.
Other ways to buy
- The Robinhood Wallet. Robinhood's own wallet app trades stock tokens on Robinhood Chain.
- Aggregators. 0x and Velora route a swap across Robinhood Chain's pools for the best price.
- A Gifted Stock box. A normal box ($0.10) or a premium box ($1) on Robinhood Chain opens into a random amount of one stock token, valued at its Chainlink price the moment you open it: how to buy and open a box.
Before you buy
- issuer
- Robinhood. A token with the same ticker at an address Robinhood does not list is not a stock token.
- multiplier
- One token stands for a set number of shares, which moves with dividends and splits: its price is the share's price times the multiplier.
- price
- Chainlink feeds on Robinhood Chain price each token; they pause over the weekend, while the pools trade on.
- controls
- Robinhood can pause a token, blocklist a wallet and upgrade the contract.
- who can hold
- Not US persons and not everywhere else either: Robinhood's terms ↗.

Questions
Do I need a Robinhood account to buy stock tokens?
No. A wallet on Robinhood Chain with ETH or USDG is enough and the tokens go to your own wallet. The Robinhood Wallet is one way to hold them, not a requirement.
What is USDG?
A dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos and the main dollar on Robinhood Chain. One USDG is one dollar.
How long does it take to get ETH onto Robinhood Chain?
About 10 minutes through the Arbitrum bridge from Ethereum and seconds through intent bridges like Relay and Across, according to Robinhood's docs.
Can I buy stock tokens on Gifted Stock?
Not directly yet. You can win one: a $0.10 or $1 box on Robinhood Chain opens into a random amount of one stock token, paid in USDG or ETH.
Is a stock token the same as a tokenized stock on Base?
No. They are different tokens from different issuers on different chains, even for the same company, and neither can be moved to the other chain.
Can I buy stock tokens in the US?
No. Robinhood does not offer stock tokens to US persons and they are not available everywhere else either. Check Robinhood's terms and your own rules first.
