What is Gifted Stock?

by Ali Tiknazoglu · updated oct 10, 2026

Gifted Stock is a mystery box that pays out real stock. Buy a box for $0.10 or $1, open it and a random amount of a real company's stock, like SpaceX, Tesla, NVIDIA or Apple, lands in your wallet within seconds - or send the box sealed to a friend as a gift. It runs on Base, paying Coinbase tokenized stocks and on Robinhood Chain, paying Robinhood stock tokens.

The four boxes

base normal
$0.10 in USDC. Pays $0.01 to $1 of a Coinbase tokenized stock.
base premium
$1 in USDC. Pays $0.10 to $10 or the $25 bonus pot.
robinhood normal
$0.10 in USDG or ETH. Pays $0.01 to $1 of a Robinhood stock token or the $2.50 bonus pot.
robinhood premium
$1 in USDG or ETH. Pays $0.10 to $10 or the $25 bonus pot.

Every prize and its chance is in the odds table, read live from each box's contract. Open up to 10 Base normal boxes or 200 of any other box at once: how to buy and open a box.

Why people use it

  • Gift real stock. A sealed box opens into a slice of a real company. Send it to any wallet; your friend needs a wallet, not a brokerage account: how to gift a stock.
  • Own stock onchain from $0.10. A small, fun first step into Coinbase tokenized stocks and Robinhood stock tokens.
  • A reveal with real value. Open one box or up to 200 at once and the stock lands in your wallet within seconds.
  • Free stock from campaigns. Projects reward their communities with boxes for simple tasks: how to get free stocks.

What makes it fair

  • The odds table lives in the contract and the contract enforces it: every prize and its chance are public.
  • The random number comes after the open, from Pyth Entropy on Base and from drand on Robinhood Chain, whose signature the contract checks onchain. Nobody, the team included, can know a result in advance.
  • Box sales and the stock bought with them sit in the box contracts, not in anyone's account.
  • Every purchase, open and payout is a public transaction; the Vault shows every holding live and every contract is listed on the About page.

The stocks

On Base the boxes pay Coinbase tokenized stocks, real shares as tokens: what is a tokenized stock on Base. On Robinhood Chain they pay Robinhood stock tokens, which track real shares: what are stock tokens on Robinhood Chain. Every stock in the boxes has its own page on Stocks.

Questions

Can I lose money?

Yes. Some boxes are worth more than you paid and some are worth less. The odds table shows every prize and its chance and the contract enforces it.

Can anyone rig the result?

No one can pick a result, the team included. The odds table lives in the contract and the random number arrives after the open: from Pyth Entropy on Base and from drand on Robinhood Chain, whose signature the contract checks onchain.

Is it on Base or on Robinhood Chain?

Both. Each chain has a normal box for $0.10 and a premium box for $1. On Base a box pays a Coinbase tokenized stock and on Robinhood Chain a Robinhood stock token.

Who built Gifted Stock?

Ali Tiknazoglu, an onchain builder and product guy who consults for projects across ecosystems. He previously co-founded Inflynce, an onchain advertising protocol on Base.

Can I use it in the US?

The stocks it pays, Coinbase tokenized stocks and Robinhood stock tokens, are not available to US persons and not in some other countries either. Check you may hold them where you live first.
