Buy MSFTc here

  1. Connect a wallet with USDC on Base - Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby or any other.
  2. Open your profile's Portfolio tab, switch to Buy and type a dollar amount next to MSFTc. Add other stocks if you like.
  3. Confirm once. The stocks go through Aerodrome in one transaction and land in your wallet; 1% of the stock is our fee.

Selling works the same way from Sell side, for USDC. Buys start at $1 and sales at $0.05; a trade is refused when pool is more than 1.5% off Chainlink's price, so a thin pool can never quietly overcharge you.

Questions

Is MSFTc the same as Microsoft stock?

MSFTc is a token on Base that tracks one Microsoft share. Coinbase issues it and holds a matching share with a regulated custodian, so it is backed one to one. You hold the token in your own wallet; the share stays in custody.

Do I get Microsoft dividends or voting rights with MSFTc?

No voting rights: those stay with the custodian. The Chainlink price these tokens use is a total-return price, so a dividend shows up in the token's price rather than as a payment to you.

Can I buy MSFTc in US?

No. Coinbase tokenized stocks are not offered to US persons and they are not available everywhere else either. Check your own rules before buying or opening a box.

What happens to MSFTc when the stock market is closed?

The price feed follows the market 24/5 and pauses over the weekend. While the price is stale, boxes do not draw MSFTc and buying or selling it here waits for a fresh price.
